Teenagers are "wrecking" an abandoned house on Studenchesky Passage.
The four-story building constructed in 1983, where military personnel used to live, has long been sealed off, but this year video cameras and locks on the doors have disappeared from the site, reported the regional branch of the People's Front, citing complaints from local residents.
Now anyone can enter the building. This is being exploited by groups of teenagers: they are taking out old furniture, scattering construction debris, breaking windows, and often starting fires. Neighbors complain about constant noise, trash from the area "migrates" to the playground, and parking cars near the house is dangerous — bricks could fall.
People are already tired of chasing away noisy groups, have repeatedly called the police and the juvenile affairs commission. Activists have sent a request to the building owner demanding re-sealing. If that doesn't help, the public will plan to contact the prosecutor's office.
