In the Murashinsky district, a man stole 12 concrete slabs from a forest road.
The world court of the Murashinsky district has completed the consideration of a criminal case regarding the theft of road slabs. The suspect turned out to be a 28-year-old local resident.
It was established that in November of last year, the man noticed a forest road in the Murashinsky district paved with concrete slabs. Using his own truck equipped with a hydraulic manipulator, he dismantled and stole 12 slabs, which he later hid.
Representatives of the company that had previously equipped this road for logging and timber transportation reported the disappearance of the construction materials to the police. The damage amounted to 96,000 rubles.
Police officers identified the alleged offender. The man's actions were classified under part 1 of article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft). During the investigation, the investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Murashinsky" gathered sufficient evidence. The suspect confessed to the crime, actively assisted in solving the crime, and voluntarily compensated the victims for the damage caused.
After the investigation was completed, the criminal case with the approved indictment was submitted to the world court. It was confirmed during the court session that the defendant fully compensated for the damage caused — the stolen property was returned to its rightful owner.
By the court's ruling, the criminal case against the suspect was terminated due to reconciliation of the parties. However, the truck used for dismantling and transporting the slabs was recognized as the instrument of the crime and was confiscated for state ownership.
