In the Kirov region, families with children are partially reimbursed for housing rental expenses. This support measure has been extended until the end of 2026.
As reported by the government, one of the parents can receive the money if the family is on the waiting list for housing under a social rental agreement. The amount of compensation depends on the family's income and composition.
Low-income families with one child are reimbursed 30% of the rent, but no more than 8,000 rubles per month; with two children, 50% (up to 12,000 rubles); and large families receive 100% (up to 17,000 rubles). The income per person in the family must not exceed the established minimum living wage of 16,856 rubles, with the exception of large families.
The rental agreement must be concluded for a maximum of one year, and the housing must be located in the same settlement where the family is registered. To receive the payment, one must contact the MFC or social protection authorities.
