A Kirov resident was sent to a colony for purchasing drugs.

      In Kirov, the court issued a verdict against a local resident who was found guilty of illegal acquisition of narcotic substances. The criminal case was examined with the support of the prosecutor's office of the Lenin district.

      As established in court, the man purchased a synthetic drug via the internet. The transaction took place near a residential building on Vorovsky Street. After the purchase, he kept the prohibited substance with him.

      Later, the police detained the Kirov resident. During the search, they seized more than 1.8 grams of the drug, which is considered a large quantity.

      The court took into account the position of the state prosecutor and sentenced the man to 2 years of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a general regime correctional colony.
