More than 300 thousand residents of Kirov received benefits for paying utility bills.
According to Kirovstat, in 2025, 313.5 thousand residents of the region received benefits for housing and utility payments. This includes categories such as disabled individuals, families with disabled children, large families, labor veterans, and combat veterans.
A total of 3.587 billion rubles was allocated for these purposes from budgets at all levels. The majority of the funds came from the regional budget — 2.221 billion rubles, while another 1.363 billion rubles was provided from the federal treasury.
On average, a benefit recipient in the Kirov region received 954 rubles per month. By this indicator, the region ranked 4th among the subjects of the Volga Federal District.
Additionally, there are subsidies in the region for families with high utility costs. In 2025, about 18 thousand families benefited from these subsidies, whose utility expenses exceeded 22% of their income.
A total of 326.2 million rubles was allocated from the regional budget for these subsidies. On average, one family received 1474 rubles per month. By this indicator, the Kirov region ranked 7th in the Volga Federal District.
