According to the regional branch of the Social Fund, this concerns families with three or more children whose average per capita income exceeds the subsistence minimum (16,856 rubles) by no more than 10%. Now, such applicants will be assigned a payment of 50% of the regional subsistence minimum per child. Previously, even a slight excess in income was grounds for denial. The new rule applies to those who applied for benefits in the last month of its validity or within three months after the end of payments. The recalculation will be conducted proactively — parents do not need to submit new applications or gather documents. Social Fund specialists will independently determine recipients based on available data. Payments will be assigned from the month of application for benefits in 2026. Notifications of the decision made will be sent to personal accounts on the "Gosuslugi" portal. At the same time, when calculating the family's income, salaries, bonuses, income from entrepreneurial activities, pensions, scholarships, and other receipts, as well as property security, are still taken into account.
