In three days, Kirov residents handed over more than 100 used tires.
Individuals can drop off tires at the regional operator's facilities located at: 47A/1 Luganskaya St.; the solid waste landfill at the 16th kilometer of the Soviet tract.
"For three years of the campaign, the regional operator has collected over 1600 tons of old tires. This year, we accept up to 4 tires from passenger vehicles per person. You must have documents for the vehicle (registration certificate or title) with you — this confirms that the tires are personal and not waste from commercial activities," said Dmitry Nevenchenkov, the first deputy general director of AO "Kuprit," coordinator of the "Clean Country" project.
The Minister of Environmental Protection of the Kirov Region, Timur Abashev, reported that the geography of the campaign will be expanded. In 2026, it will also take place in Vyatskiye Polyany, Slobodskoy, Kirovo-Chepetsk, and Kotelnich.
"The expansion of the campaign's geography will allow more residents of the region to safely dispose of waste and reduce the risk of unauthorized landfills," noted Timur Envilievich.
Important: within the framework of the campaign, AO "Kuprit" does not issue disposal documents required for accounting or environmental reporting by organizations.
Legal entities wishing to drop off tires and obtain confirming documents must contact the industrial waste department of AO "Kuprit," sign a contract, and pay for the service.
