The government of the Kirov region has published updated information about the fire in the urban-type settlement of Yury, which occurred last night. According to the administration of the Yuryansky district, the fire started in one of the extensions to a private house on Komsomolskaya Street. The preliminary cause is a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
The flames managed to spread to the roof of the residential part of the building; however, all residents, including children, left the house in time. None of them were injured. Moreover, as emphasized by the regional government, the property inside the house was not damaged by the fire.
Currently, the family of the fire victims has temporarily relocated to relatives. The local administration, community activists, and residents of the settlement of Yury have already begun to raise funds to assist the victims. The head of the Yuryansky district administration, Igor Shulaev, is personally monitoring the situation.
