According to the city services, 75 units of special equipment and 125 workers are currently involved in the work. Just over the past weekend, 190 cubic meters of garbage and 347 tons of street sweepings were removed from the roads. At the same time, road workers are increasing the number of washing and watering vehicles and updating the fleet. In particular, a new vehicle with an increased water tank—up to 11 cubic meters—has been deployed on the streets. The equipment can be operated directly from the cabin: using a joystick, the angle of water delivery can be adjusted, including for washing guardrails. To date, about 90% of the barrier fences in the city have already been cleaned. At the same time, work has begun to restore the cast-iron structures on Oktyabrsky Avenue and the railway station square. All elements are being checked for wear. Damaged and outdated structures are planned to be replaced. The spring cleaning work in Kirov continues.
