A Kirov resident threw the conductor out of the vestibule onto the railway tracks.
According to the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Irina Volk, the conflict in the moving train arose due to a short stop. The passenger was in a hurry to exit, but the conductor explained that the stop was too brief, leaving the carriage was dangerous and prohibited. The verbal altercation quickly escalated into physical violence.
According to the transport police, the man did not argue — he acted roughly and quickly. With one swift motion, he pushed the woman out of the vestibule. The conductor fell onto the railway tracks and sustained injuries that medics later classified as moderate harm to health.
However, even after this, the unruly passenger did not calm down. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs specified that he began to threaten the train manager, without clarifying how he intended to respond for disrupting his attempt to exit.
Transport police officers promptly responded to the signal. The troublemaker was detained right at the station. It turned out that this was not his first conflict with the law — the man had previously been convicted multiple times, reports the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the resident of Kirov for petty hooliganism and disobedience to lawful police demands. But this was not the end of the matter. As clarified by the Kostroma linear department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on transport, investigators initiated criminal cases — for intentional infliction of moderate harm to health out of hooligan motives, as well as for threats of murder or causing serious harm to health.
The suspect is currently detained under Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation. The conductor is receiving treatment. Investigators are trying to determine what exactly the resident of Kirov had against the train staff and why he was in such a hurry to leave the train.
