The contractor from Ivanovo won 1.7 million from the Kirov Fund for Capital Repairs.
In the spring of 2023, the Kirov Capital Repair Fund signed two contracts with the company "Mital" from Ivanovo for assessing the condition of buildings, developing a capital repair project, and carrying out the necessary work. The buildings in question are located in Kirov at Karl Liebknecht, 56, Spasskaya, 57/Karl Liebknecht, 71, and October Avenue, 110 and 112. The total cost of the work under the contracts amounted to 28.8 million rubles and 22.3 million rubles, respectively.
In the autumn of the same year, the Fund unilaterally terminated both contracts, claiming that the contractor allegedly missed deadlines and did not complete the work on time. The Fund also imposed fines. The company disagreed with this and went to court, demanding that the termination be declared illegal and that it be paid 3.3 million rubles for the work performed.
The court of first instance partially granted the claim, ordering the Fund to pay the contractor 1.73 million rubles. The firm filed an appeal. The Second Arbitration Court of Appeal, having reviewed it, did not change the decision.
