The Tyumen coach called the Kirov "Dynamo" a "weak opponent."
Yesterday, April 1, Kirov's "Dynamo" played another match in the Russian football championship in the 2nd league. In Tyumen, they faced the club of the same name.
After a heavy defeat in the previous round against "Amkar" (1:4), our team needed to rehabilitate itself in front of the fans. They managed to do this, although not completely.
The main events of the match occurred in the debut. The hosts opened the scoring already in the 9th minute: a cross from the right flank and a precise header. The Dynamo players quickly equalized – Kirill Burykin was the first to reach the ball that bounced off the goalkeeper.
After that, the Tyumen team was closer to success, but our goalkeeper Vladimir Zadyraka performed excellently, making several saves. In one episode, the goalkeeper collided with his own player, got injured, and finished the match with a bandaged head.
At the post-match press conference, the head coach of "Tyumen," Timur Kasimov, spoke rather unfavorably about "Dynamo":
"It’s disappointing that we didn’t win against such a weak opponent. I don’t like their anti-football, and I think few people enjoy such a game. Yes, for them, it’s probably a great happiness to draw with us. This is the weakest team we have played against. Of course, we should have beaten them. And convincingly."
The coach of "Dynamo," Viktor Bulatov, was more respectful towards the opponent:
"I think that 'Tyumen,' in terms of composition and the level of players, is probably the strongest team right now in 'Silver.' And, of course, I consider a draw against such an opponent away a positive result."
