The "Walking Spasskaya" is returning to Kirov.
In Kirov, the summer tourist season will open on May 1. The main venue will once again be the "Walking Spasskaya" project, which will run until September 27. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
Markets, concerts, master classes, and interactive programs will be organized on the street. The events are timed to the 90th anniversary of Kirov region and the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.
On the section from Svobody Street to Kazanskaya, market stalls will be set up, showcasing products from farmers, crafts by artisans, and folk crafts. On weekends, the program will be more intense: concerts and entertainment events will take place on Spasskaya.
During the project, the traffic scheme will change. On weekdays, part of the street will be open to cars, while on weekends and holidays, Spasskaya will become completely pedestrian from Nikitskaya to Lenin.
The season opening is scheduled for May 1-3. During these days, guests will be able to get acquainted with the districts of Kirov region, try local treats, participate in master classes, and enjoy the concert program.
