A drunk resident of Rodygino stabbed a knife into the chest of an acquaintance.

      The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kirov Region has initiated a criminal case against a 34-year-old resident of the village of Rodygino under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder).

      According to the regional investigative committee, on March 27 of this year, the suspect, while in a state of intoxication, stabbed his acquaintance in the chest during a conflict. The victim was hospitalized from the scene of the incident, but despite the doctors' assistance, he died in the hospital shortly thereafter.

      The accused has been detained. The investigation is petitioning the court for a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
