Sokolov supported the ban on riding near monuments.

      Recently, the city administration proposed to introduce a ban on riding scooters, bicycles, and skateboards near monuments and memorials. Today, at a government meeting, Governor Alexander Sokolov commented on the initiative. The head of the region noted that the ban itself is correct and should be implemented. However, a ban alone will not be enough. According to Sokolov, it is essential to work with children and their parents, convincing them not to ride near monuments and explaining why it is not advisable to do so. He instructed his subordinates to address this issue.
