According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kirov Region, information about the illegal shooting of animals in the forest near the village of Golodaevo was received in February. The offender was identified within a day — he turned out to be a man born in 1957.
At the same time, he had a registered shotgun, but he did not have a permit for hunting animals. A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal Hunting"). All circumstances of the incident are currently being established.
Law enforcement agencies remind that hunting is strictly regulated by law, and the absence of permit documents can lead to criminal liability.
