Sokolov reprimanded Gagarinov for the demolished pole.
At a government meeting, Governor Alexander Sokolov reported that complaints from residents of Kirovo-Chepetsk recently appeared on social media. They stated that a month ago, a tractor knocked down a pole and a fence near a residential building on Kalinina Street, and that the situation had not changed in a month.
Sokolov instructed the new head of the city administration, Igor Gagarinov, to report on the incident. Gagarinov mentioned that residents approached him about this issue in mid-March, but the problem could not be resolved immediately — they had to wait for the snow to melt. Recently, the contractor corrected the violation.
Sokolov reprimanded Gagarinov for the authorities' significant delay in resolving the issue. He added that they should not have waited but should have fixed the fence and the pole right away, which would have helped avoid the scandal.
