In the Kotelnichsky district, an individual entrepreneur was fined twice due to pesticides.

      In September 2025, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor conducted an inspection of an entrepreneur who grows agricultural crops in the Kotelnichsky district. It was revealed that from May to August, he treated his barley, wheat, pea, and flax crops with pesticides, but did not inform the public about this through the media, although he was required to do so by law, as pesticides often kill bees.

      On November 11, the entrepreneur was held administratively liable under Article 8.3 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation and fined 2,000 rubles. He paid the fine. He was also issued a notice to eliminate the violations; however, the entrepreneur did not take any measures and did not report on this.

      On January 27, a protocol was drawn up against the individual entrepreneur under Article 19.6 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The court found him guilty and imposed a penalty in the form of a fine of 4,000 rubles. The entrepreneur also paid the second fine.
