Due to the rise in water, the village near Kilmiz was cut off from the "big land."

      Starting March 28, the crossing near the village of Maksimovsky on the road (Kilmiz – Selino) – Chernushka will be inaccessible for transport.

      As reported by the district administration, the bridge will be closed until the water level in the river decreases optimally. Essentially, the village has been cut off from the road leading to the district center.

      These measures are related to the onset of the spring flood. Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kirov region warned that under the worst-case scenario, up to 37 settlements in the region could be at risk of flooding.

      To preserve floating and low-water bridges, they are being dismantled or raised, which may disrupt transport communication in 14 municipalities. Details on preparations for the flood can be found in our material.
