The dangerous intersection near kindergartens has been promised to be put in order.

      The speech is about the route from Vladimirskaya Street towards the clinic on Proletarskaya and kindergarten No. 12, as well as to kindergarten No. 204. As noted by the residents of Kirov, there is a lack of markings and road signs at the intersection — both on the even and odd sides of Nikitskaya Street. As a result, drivers do not yield to pedestrians, and parents with children, including mothers with strollers, are forced to violate traffic rules.

      The alternative is to take a detour, making a significant loop. However, according to local residents, in practice, most choose the shorter but dangerous route.

      Residents have turned to the People's Front with their complaint. After the public's appeal to the city administration, the authorities promised to solve the problem: three pedestrian crossings are planned to be established in the area.

      Two of them will appear on Nikitskaya Street — on both sides. The contractor has already been tasked with installing "Pedestrian Crossing" road signs by April 15. The issue has been taken under control.

      It should be noted that a similar situation was previously observed at the intersection of Svobody and Militsionnaya Streets. After the intervention of the public, a traffic light and corresponding markings appeared there. Now residents hope that the issue on Nikitskaya will not remain just on paper.
