90 applications have been submitted for the "Silver Constellation" competition.
This year, about 90 initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the elderly and preserving historical memory have been submitted to the competition. Currently, the applications are undergoing a technical expertise stage. By April 1, the expert council will determine the winners who will receive grants to implement their projects. This year, most applications are united by a common theme. The priority areas have become projects dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and the 90th anniversary of the Kirov region. The submitted initiatives are aimed at preserving historical and cultural traditions, as well as strengthening public unity. "This year, a large number of applications have been received from proactive and active residents of the region. Traditionally, rural cultural centers, libraries, schools, and kindergartens actively participate, and for the first time, district social service centers have joined in. The city of Kirov has become the leader in the number of applications with 12 projects. For the second consecutive year, the Afanasyevsky, Verkhnekamsky, Svechinsky, Nagorsky, and Yuryansky municipalities have shown high activity. Many initiatives are aimed at developing volunteering, including assistance within the framework of the Special Military Operation. The projects are characterized by their relevance and high level of elaboration, so the experts will face a serious selection process," noted the chairwoman of the Kirov regional organization "Knowledge," Natalia Shedko. The winners of the competition will be determined by April 1. The results of the competitive selection will be published on March 31 on the websites Azimov.ru and the organization "Knowledge."
