In Kirov, the project "Let's Decorate Our Homeland with Flowers!" by Oleg Valenchuk has started.

      Although it is still just a calendar spring, it has indeed arrived. Soon the annoying snow will disappear without a trace, and the first green shoots will appear in yards, squares, and parks. Every year, at the initiative of State Duma deputy and chairman of the Union of Gardeners of Russia Oleg Valenchuk, preschool and educational institutions, veteran organizations, and societies for the disabled, cultural institutions, as well as Centers for Local Activity receive seeds of flowering plants. In the fall, a traditional competition "Let's Beautify Our Homeland with Flowers!" is held among all participants.

      Meetings with activists of the Local Activity Center took place in Zakharishchevo, Pobedilovo, Lyangasovo, as well as at the Local Activity Center on Gorky Street, 63/1, where the vice-speaker of the Kirov region legislative assembly and chairwoman of the regional branch of the Women's Union Irina Morozova also visited.

      She emphasized the importance of joint work between the Union of Gardeners and the Women's Union, noting that for many women, gardening is not just work in the garden, but a beloved hobby, an opportunity to distract from daily problems, and connect with nature. Irina Gennadyevna shared her experience of how she draws strength from creating beauty and comfort in her home. She urged all Kirov residents to actively participate in planting flowers, creating green corners in their yards and public spaces.

      The project "Let's Beautify Our Homeland with Flowers!" (6+) also opens new opportunities for involving the younger generation of Kirov residents in the process of improving their living environment. Many children plant flowers at home with their parents, which helps them develop work skills, love for their homeland, and care for nature.

      "It is pleasant that the movement 'Let's Beautify Our Homeland with Flowers!' has found such a lively response in the hearts of Kirov residents," says Oleg Valenchuk. "Flower beds are being renewed in yards, squares, parks, near schools and kindergartens. The number of people who care deeply about the city they live in and strive to make their small homeland more beautiful is growing. Even one flower, grown with love and planted in the ground, can change a space. Even if this small contribution seems insignificant to you, believe me, when we are together, we can achieve a lot."
