Contractors have been selected for road repairs in the northwest of the Kirov region.
The work will be carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," the agency reported.
The main object is the section Almez – Skryabino on the Kirov – Kotlas – Arkhangelsk highway. The road provides a connection between the northwestern regions and the regional center, as well as a transit route to the Arkhangelsk region. Currently, it has a gravel surface.
The contractor chosen is the company "SU-43." They are set to overhaul 14.2 kilometers: lay asphalt, create drainage, arrange shoulders, sidewalks, stops, and install barriers. The work is to be completed by November 30, 2027.
The second object is three sections of the road Plotniki – Vozhgaly – Uni in the Kumen district with a total length of 12 kilometers. The route connects Kirov with the Kumen, Bogorodsky, and Uninsky districts, where agricultural enterprises and dairy factories are located. The road will be repaired by the regional company "Vyatavtodor." The deadline for completion of the work is August 31, 2026.
