Kataev was awarded the Medal 'For Bravery'.

      Today at a government meeting Governor Alexander Sokolov reported that Ilya Kataev, head of the regional branch of the "Young Guard", who volunteered for the special military operation and twice extended his contract, received the Medal "For Bravery," Second Class. Sokolov congratulated him and said that his successor had followed him to the special military operation.

      In addition, during the meeting it was reported that more than ten letters had been received in the Kirov region from commanders of various military units where our fellow countrymen serve. They expressed gratitude for the courageous fulfillment of tasks in the special military operation zone.

      The governor also reported that by presidential decree the workforce of the Selmash plant received the Order of Alexander Nevsky for its major contribution to strengthening the country's defense capabilities. We wrote about this earlier. The Lepse, Molot-Oruzhie and Mayak plants have received similar awards. Avitek was awarded the Order "For Valiant Labour."
