Kirov medical workers received additional pay for working in villages.

      The total amount of payments under the "Zemsky Doctor" and "Zemsky Feldsher" programs exceeded 59.5 million rubles, the regional government said.

      The amount of support depends on the territory to which the specialist relocates. For settlements included in the list of remote and hard-to-reach localities, the payment to doctors is 1.5 million rubles, and to mid-level medical staff — 750 thousand rubles. When moving to other rural settlements, doctors receive 1 million rubles, and feldshers and nurses — 500 thousand rubles.

      The list of settlements that qualify for increased payments is published on the official website of the government of Kirov Region in the "Documents" section (Resolution No. 111-P of March 12, 2018).

      Authorities note that attracting medical staff to rural areas is being implemented as part of the national project "Long and Active Life."
