Rakhim Azimov took part in a meeting on the development of educational infrastructure at the E. M. Primakov Gymnasium.
During the visit to the gymnasium, the delegation inspected the campus and held a meeting with the institution’s leadership. The main topic of discussion was the development of modern educational infrastructure and the replication of best practices in the regions of the Russian Federation.
The E. M. Primakov Gymnasium is the largest humanitarian educational cluster in Russia, where instruction is conducted in two languages. At present, students from 41 regions of the country study at the gymnasium. For gifted children from across Russia, accommodation is provided in a boarding house located on the campus.
Special attention was paid to international educational cooperation. The gymnasium hosts the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Center for International Cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in the field of education.
In addition, since 2019 the Educational Center “Vzlyot” has been operating within the gymnasium’s structure — a regional center for identifying, supporting and developing the abilities and talents of children and youth in the Moscow Region. The Center operates within the framework of the national project “Education”, the federal project “Success of Every Child”, as well as the national project “Youth and Children”.
Rakhim Azimov:
The E. M. Primakov Gymnasium is one of the leading educational institutions. It contributes to the development of interstate cooperation thanks to the work of the Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Center, the opening of which in 2024 was attended by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The institution pays attention not only to the educational process but also to the organization of extracurricular activities and, which is particularly valuable, to the formation of a system of values among students.
The importance and significance of the gymnasium’s experience are underscored by today’s visit of the Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia, as well as the leaders of two of Russia’s largest regions. I am confident that the gymnasium’s educational practices should be carefully studied and efforts should be made to implement them in other educational organizations.
