A resident of the Sovetsky District was banned from driving.

The Prosecutor’s Office of the Sovetsky District of the Kirov Region conducted an inspection of compliance with road traffic safety legislation. During the inspection it was established that a local resident, who holds a driver’s license, has been registered with a psychiatrist since March 2025 due to an illness that contraindicates operating motor vehicles. According to the supervisory authority, allowing a person with medical restrictions to drive creates a threat to road safety and may lead to harm to the life and health of other road users. In this regard the prosecutor’s office filed a claim with the court seeking termination of the right to operate motor vehicles. The court found the claims lawful and justified and granted them in full. The enforcement of the court decision is under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
