On January 12 in Kirovo-Chepetsk, officials inspected 228 yards. In some of them there were icicles and masses of snow on the roofs ready to fall. As a result, six management companies ("Semigrad", "Mayak", "GUZHEK No. 6", "ZHEU No. 6", "Alternativa" and "ZhSK-43") were issued orders to remedy the violations by January 16.

On Friday the authorities re-inspected the "problem" yards. By that time all violations had been remedied, the city administration reported.
