Another batch of new buses has arrived in Kirov.

      The buses have been placed at the disposal of JSC "Kirov Passenger Autotrans." The remaining vehicles, it was reported, will be delivered in stages in the near future. Before entering service the buses must undergo acceptance inspection, registration with the State Traffic Inspectorate and technical adjustments. After that they are planned to be sent to routes with high passenger loads — Nos. 2, 16, 46, 87 and 101.

      In total, 103 buses of the NefAZ and LiAZ brands are expected to be delivered to Kirov in 2026. They are intended for the municipal carriers — "Kirov Passenger Autotrans" and "Autotransport Enterprise." The fleet renewal is being carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

      According to the regional government, the new buses are equipped with video surveillance systems, ERA-GLONASS, automatic fire suppression, climate control and electronic displays. USB ports and media panels are also reported to be included. The warranty on the vehicles is 24 months or 150,000 kilometers.
