      In Suna, a man paid compensation for a teenager who was bitten

      The Suna District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kirov Region obtained through the court the recovery of compensation for moral damages in favor of a 13-year-old teenager who was injured in a dog attack.

      The incident occurred on July 20, 2025, in the village of Toskuy in the Suna District. Due to the animal being kept without control, the dog attacked the minor and bit him on the leg. The teenager experienced physical pain, fright, and emotional distress.

      In the victim’s interest, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit against the dog’s owner. Following consideration of the case, the court granted the prosecutor’s office’s claims and ordered the dog owner to pay compensation for moral damages in the amount of 20,000 rubles.

      The court decision has been enforced.
