      At today’s government meeting Alexander Sokolov reported that Kirov Oblast was among three regions that will receive additional funds for the development of the urban environment. More precisely, it has already received them.

      The governor added that he personally asked the federal authorities to allocate money for the fourth phase of improvements to Kirov Park. They approved the initiative. In total our region was given 116 million rubles.

      “Much has already been done,” Sokolov said. “The next steps will be built on a solid foundation.” Deputy Chairman Alexey Zherdev, who was present at the meeting, corrected him, reminding him that the fourth phase of improvements has already been completed and the park fully handed over.
