In 2025, 153 cleanup events (subbotniks) took place at the region’s water bodies. During the cleanups, 77.2 kilometers of shoreline were cleared. A total of 2,173 residents of Kirov Oblast took part in the environmental events. Together, participants of the campaign collected 452 cubic meters of trash. The "Water of Russia" campaign is being carried out as part of the national project "Environmental Well‑being," initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
