In Kirov, a court ordered the destruction of more than 250 liters of illegal alcohol.
The Leninsky District Court of the city of Kirov upheld the prosecutor’s demands and ruled to destroy the alcohol-containing products seized during raids to suppress illegal alcohol sales.
The products were seized from retail outlets operating in the basements and ground floors of apartment buildings, where the sale of alcohol is prohibited by law. Violations were found in shops located at 67/1 Chapaeva Street and 184 Lenina Street in Kirov.
After seizure, the alcohol-containing products were stored in the storage facilities of the local Interior Ministry (UMVD). Following completion of the inspections, the question of their further fate was referred to the court. Taking the prosecutor’s position into account, the court found the products to have been in illegal circulation and ordered their destruction.
