Kirov will receive a record number of tourist trains during the New Year's holidays.

      On January 6 the tourist train "Vyatskaya Skazka" arrived in Kirov — already the third since the start of the year. Its route runs Moscow — Kirov — Veliky Ustyug — Moscow. This year the city was included in the updated travel program approved by JSC "RZD Tur."

      As the Center for Tourism Development of the Kirov Region reported, a special excursion program was prepared for the guests. The tourists were ceremoniously welcomed at the station, after which they set off by bus on a sightseeing tour of the city, visiting museums and the "Fairy Tale Reserve."

      Authorities note that in the coming days the flow of tourists will continue: on January 7 Kirov will receive the largest group of travelers from Chelyabinsk, and on January 9 the arrival of a train from Perm is expected.

      The development of domestic tourism remains one of the key objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."
