Kirov road workers have begun to rake it in aggressively.

      Due to heavy precipitation and blizzard conditions, Kirov’s road services have increased the number of vehicles and personnel involved in clearing the city’s streets.

      At night, 63 manual workers and 134 vehicles were working on the roads. Currently, 100 people and 122 vehicles have been deployed to clear roads and sidewalks.

      “The top priority of all contracting organizations is to ensure the safety of pedestrians and road users. We pay special attention to descents and ascents: these sections are promptly cleared of snow, treated with anti-icing materials at an increased application rate, and heavy-duty tow trucks are on duty in such places,” the city’s Public Improvement Directorate said.
