The traffic pattern on Svobody Street in Kirov has been changed.
Starting January 2, 2026, changes to traffic arrangements will take effect in Kirov. On the section of Svobody Street from Militseyskaya Street to Proletarskaya Street, traffic will become two-way. No stopping signs (sign 3.27) will be installed along that stretch. In addition, the intersection of Svobody and Militseyskaya is now regulated by traffic lights. Left turns at the intersection of Lenina and Proletarskaya have been prohibited. The measures are aimed at increasing traffic capacity and improving road safety. Drivers are advised to take the changes into account in advance when choosing their routes, the Kirov State Traffic Inspectorate reports.
