In Kirov, the owner of a veterinary clinic was punished for selling animal medicines without a license.
According to the supervisory authority, the inspection was prompted by a complaint from a resident of Kirov received on October 27. The woman complained about the sale of veterinary medicines in one of the clinics without a license. On October 30, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists carried out a test purchase, during which the information was confirmed: the entrepreneur sold an antiparasitic drug for cats.
In addition, during an inspection of the clinic premises inspectors found violations of drug storage conditions. The cabinet containing the medicines was not labeled, there was no shelving card, and the premises lacked devices for monitoring temperature and humidity. This contradicts the requirements of good pharmacy practice and the rules for storing veterinary medicinal products.
An administrative protocol was drawn up on the fact of trading in medicines without a license, and the materials were sent to the Arbitration Court of the Kirov Region. On December 17 the court found the entrepreneur guilty and imposed a warning as punishment. Later, on December 24, Rosselkhoznadzor also held the clinic owner liable for violating the rules for handling medicinal products — again imposing a warning.
