22,000 tons of fish, animal feed and eggs were transported by train across Kirov Oblast.
Since the beginning of the year, Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors for the Kirov Region, Udmurtia and Perm Krai have inspected 470 consignments of controlled products during domestic railway shipments. The total volume amounted to 22,280 tonnes.
According to the agency, feed and feed additives were brought into the region from the Kursk, Saratov, Amur, Volgograd, Kaliningrad and Belgorod regions and Tatarstan — a total of 15,370 tonnes. Also, 142 consignments of frozen fish arrived from Murmansk Region, Primorsky Krai and Komi, totaling 6,450 tonnes.
From the Kirov Region, in turn, 41 consignments of chicken eggs — 880,860 pieces — were sent to the Komi Republic and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YNAO), as well as 453 tonnes of dry skimmed milk to Blagoveshchensk (Amur Region).
No violations of railway transportation rules were identified as a result of the inspections.
