In Kirov, the deadlines for meter sealing are being extended.

      MUP "Vodokanal" has reported an increase in processing times for requests to seal water meters. The reason is a surge in requests following the entry into force on December 6, 2025, of amendments to Russian Government Decree No. 354, which provide for a higher coefficient to the standard cold-water consumption rate when a seal is absent. Requests will now be processed more slowly than usual. At the same time, Kirov residents have been promised adjustments to charges based on actual consumption until March 31, 2026. The increase in the standard will not affect subscribers whose meters have been verified, are within the valid verification interval, and have an affixed seal.
