More than 20 people were injured in road accidents over the weekend in Kirov Oblast.

      The first accident occurred during the day on December 26 on the Kirov–Sovetsk–Yaransk highway. There a Kia Soul driven by a 44-year-old man collided with a Renault Logan driven by a 50-year-old woman. As a result, four people were injured: the drivers of both cars and two female passengers of the Renault, aged 70 and 75.

      Later that evening, in the Novovyatsky district of Kirov, a second major crash occurred — a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Lada Vesta collided. A 39-year-old driver and a 64-year-old female passenger of the Lada Vesta were injured.

      Then late at night, on Vladimirovskaya Street, 165 in Kirov, a Hyundai Solaris driven by a 29-year-old woman collided with a Renault Logan driven by a 58-year-old man. Three people were injured: the driver, a 26-year-old female passenger of the Renault, and a 37-year-old female passenger of the Hyundai.
