Today, December 26, a resident of Kirov contacted the editorial office after discovering overflowing garbage containers in the courtyard on Defenders of the Fatherland Street. He sent photographs with the caption: "Today at the address: Kirov, Defenders of the Fatherland Street, I captured this mess...".
The regional operator explained that the removal of solid municipal waste from the container site at 67 Defenders of the Fatherland Street is being carried out as normal and without any schedule violations. They noted that during the New Year holidays the volume of waste in the city traditionally increases — on average up to 20% above normal.
According to the operator, the crew is currently on the route, and the garbage will be collected today. They also emphasized that cleaning the area and maintaining the container site fall under the responsibility of the management company.
The regional operator added that additional waste bins are planned to be installed at those sites where more waste accumulates during the holidays, including at 67 Defenders of the Fatherland Street.
