In the morning, the Yenisei team, which went out for a morning skate before the match, noticed deep cracks running across the entire rink. An entire skate blade could fit into them, and this could cause serious injuries. The hockey club's head coach, Vitaly Anufrienko, added that he doubts anything can be done now because there is no solid sheet of ice.
