      Since the beginning of 2025, more than 101,000 cubic meters of softwood lumber have been exported from the Kirov region to Uzbekistan. This is 28% more than in the same period in 2024, when the volume amounted to almost 79,000 cubic meters.

      Another large shipment of 4,600 cubic meters of lumber was inspected on December 22. According to the regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor, all the products underwent laboratory testing. Specialists did not find quarantine pests, and the shipment fully complied with Uzbekistan's phytosanitary requirements. Following the inspection, the cargo owner was issued the necessary phytosanitary certificates.
