      The Kirov city administration has approved new rules for calculating rent for municipal property for 2026. According to the document, as of January 1 the rent will increase by 5.1% — this is the officially established coefficient that takes into account inflation and changes in prices in the country. The Department of Municipal Property will apply the new coefficient in calculations under all current lease agreements for municipal property. Also, as of the start of the year the previous 2025 rent resolution is no longer in effect — it has been declared to have lost force. Oversight of the implementation of the new decision has been assigned to the Department of Municipal Property.
