The Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov Region has announced the rehoming of two service dogs that can no longer perform their duties. The decision was made in accordance with Article 14 of the law on responsible treatment of animals.
They are two German Shepherds.
The first is eight-year-old Joanna, who for many years assisted canine handlers during routine inspections. Despite her age and loss of service capabilities, the dog is healthy, active and could become a wonderful companion.
The second dog is four-year-old Plumbum. He took part in solving crimes, but due to a diagnosed neurosis he cannot continue service. He now requires a calm home environment and a caring owner.
