Oleg Valenchuk: gasification is the main incentive for the development of gardeners' associations

      Recall that President of Russia Vladimir Putin launched the social gasification program for SNTs in his Address to the Federal Assembly on February 29, 2024. If previously gas was only brought to the boundaries of the partnership, now, under this program, gas distribution networks have begun to be laid free of charge to the boundaries of individual garden plots.

      In 2025, for the first time gardeners in the Vyatka region also began to be connected to natural gas ("blue fuel").

      As Alexander Chilikhin said, this year construction and installation work was carried out up to the boundaries of 109 houses in 8 SNTs. Of these, gas has already been commissioned in 7 SNTs (44 households): Yablonevoye, Polyanka, Varsegi, Betonshchik, Berezka-Lomovskaya, Talitsa-3 and Talitsa-4. In addition, ahead of schedule construction and installation work was completed on a 2026 project — SDT Zheleznodorozhnik-TEC 5.

      According to Oleg Valenchuk, this is the best stimulus for the development of the gardening movement in the country and the region.

      "For gardeners a new era has literally begun," Oleg Valenchuk noted. "It is precisely gasification today, above all else, that stimulates the development of the gardening movement in our country. Although the process of connecting to gas is currently subject to a number of conditions and rather complicated document-processing procedures, I have no doubt that the President of Russia's instruction will be fulfilled, and the long-awaited blue fuel will reach millions of homes of Russian gardeners."

      The gasification of SNTs is one of the key priorities of the Government Commission for the Development of Gardening and Vegetable Growing, which was established in 2022 by order of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin. Today the Government Commission, under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, coordinates the work of all agencies to simplify this process as much as possible for gardeners.

      The issue is also under constant oversight by deputies from United Russia, and the relevant funds have been allocated in the budget for 2026 recently adopted by the State Duma. In the Kirov region, gasification of a further 27 gardening partnerships is planned for next year.
