The State Labor Inspectorate found violations in the operation of a district hospital in Kirov Oblast.
On September 19, during the lunch break a cleaner at one of the district hospitals in the Kirov region was hit by a car. It should be noted that the victim was crossing the roadway at an unmarked location. As a result, he sustained multiple injuries classified as severe. The cause of the accident was the victim's violation of traffic rules.
The deputy head of the regional State Labor Inspectorate, A. D. Loginov, added that the investigation revealed other violations regarding the completion of mandatory medical examinations, training and knowledge checks on occupational safety in the prescribed manner, in terms of developing norms for the free issuance of personal protective equipment and providing the worker with them in full, as well as the failure to carry out an assessment of occupational risks at the victim’s workplace.
These violations are not the cause of the accident, but indicate that the district medical organization does not comply with state regulatory occupational safety requirements. It is currently being considered whether to bring the legal entity and the responsible officials to administrative liability in accordance with Article 5.27.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
