In Kirov, a bus conductor sustained serious injuries.

      The State Labor Inspectorate for the Kirov Region has completed its investigation into a serious workplace accident that occurred on September 27 involving a 59-year-old bus conductor employed by Kamel-Avto LLC.

      According to the agency, while the bus was traveling on its route the woman suddenly fell ill — she lost consciousness and fell from her seat. Medical personnel classified her injuries as severe. The commission found that the cause of the incident was a sudden deterioration in the employee’s health. The case was recognized as work-related.

      At the same time, the inspection identified violations of labor legislation within the organization, although they did not directly affect the incident itself. Kamel-Avto was found to have shortcomings in employee occupational safety training, in the issuance of personal protective equipment, and in the development of standards for their provision. Inspectors also pointed to deficiencies in the functioning of the occupational health and safety management system and to the untimely notification of the insurer about the incident.

      The question of bringing the legal entity and the responsible officials to administrative liability under Article 5.27.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation is currently under consideration.
