      Medialogia compiled a ranking of regional heads of the Volga Federal District for October 2025. According to the ranking, the head of Kirov Oblast, Alexander Sokolov, took the penultimate, 13th, place. Note that compared with the September ranking, the Kirov governor lost one position. Sokolov's media index in October was 8,635.9 points; he was mentioned in the media 6,154 times. Last place in the Volga Federal District governors' ranking was taken by the head of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, who also dropped one spot. As for the all-Russian governors' ranking for October of the current year, Sokolov ranks 75th, having fallen three places.
