Traffic on two streets in Kirov will be suspended due to repairs to railway crossings.
The city administration’s press service reported that work will begin first at the crossing on Zhukovsky Street — at the intersection with Oktyabrsky Avenue. It will be impossible to drive through there from 19:00 on November 14 until 18:00 on November 15.
After that, road crews will move on to the crossing near building No. 36 on Sverdlov Street. This section will be closed to traffic for one day — from 7:00 to 19:00 on November 16.
Because of the closures, the routes of buses that run along these streets will be partially changed. Routes Nos. 11, 44, 46, 50, 51, 53 and 90 will temporarily run only as far as the “20th Party Congress Square” stop — from 19:00 on November 14 to 18:00 on November 15.
Buses Nos. 19, 20, 26, 47, 54, 70 and 74 will be diverted via Oktyabrsky Avenue, Vasily Zhukovsky Street, Podgornaya Street and then along Sverdlov Street, returning to their usual route.
Drivers and passengers are advised to plan their trips in advance and take the changes in the traffic pattern into account.
